Legislate morality? Legislate perfection?

Why don't we just have a tax instead, that pays and enables the law makers, and lawyers to stay on their yachts, and visit the French Riviera and then leave us alone to move forward with progress, and accomplishment. They are currently going after baby food people, to have them get the lumps out of their cereals. Who declared that we need government protection from cradle to grave? The goverment alone, is most responsible for most danger, and deaths at every level. God bless the Libertarians!
