Why are girls still in love?

i see tem on shows all te time where a guy might deny is child with them and say he hates her but even when the women are angry they say "but i still love him" or they love people who mistrat them or they are in love after one night stands. i know they have feelings but why do they do this so much and misinterperit the siuation so much?
