What would be a reasonable re-homing fee for a 10 month old green mini macaw in good health?

Hi, As a parrot rescue person I do not charge for the adoption of my birds, I do accept donations to help out, everyone is different. 500 for a mini that has been socialized and in good health is well worth the money. They cost over 1000+ to buy new. A parrot is a life time commitment, no different than raising a child. Do your research before you decide to invest in a lifetime commitment that does not leave the house when they turn 18.
