Is it really fair to hold Tiger Woods to a higher standard?
Chris Rock said it best - "A man is only as faithful as his options." The average house-bound husband is old, fat, broke and hen-pecked. Nobody is after them. Guys like Tiger Woods are rich, famous, megastar athletes with all sorts of poonani being thrown at them. I think it's unfair to compare the two. Of course it's easier for your average Homer Simpson-type not to cheat - he's not getting laid, period. It's a whole different ball of wax when you're world-hopping on a Lear jet and every skank in the country with a nice pair of is trying their hardest to get in your pants. In this case, the playing field for being an honest, loyal husband is tilted heavily in Homer's favor. As far as men cheating goes, it's encoded in every man's DNA. Women don't cheat as much because they don't have loads of testosterone running through their veins and thousands of years of evolution working against them. Should they get a cookie for not cheating when they don't have to work so hard? I think the wife of Utah Jazz forward, Andre Kirilenko, is smart. She allows him to cheat with only one groupie a year. That let's him get his taste but it controls his behavior because if he's going to do it, he's gonna have to make it count!
